Over time, (in my case, *much* time) I've come to appreciate showmanship vs. raw talent. It took decades, but I now know what those old Las Vegas shows were doing (when I used to think they were useless and stupid.) It was showmanship and I've gotten to the place where when it's displayed boldly and without apology, come to appreciate it.
Jimmy is getting on my appreciation list.
